 🌟 Three candidates in Nandail municipality election in 2004.

 Two candidates of the ruling coalition government.

 That one umbrella brand.

 Someone else's bicycle.

 And one from the opposition party Awami League - the candle symbol.

 🌟 Election started as usual.

 That day I was praying Zahur and sitting at home eating lunch with my father.

 Then suddenly there are two sounds. We clearly heard the sound.

 Because, the distance from our house to the polling station is only about two hundred meters.

 🌟 But the sound is not like puffer - not like a car tire crack.

 Rather a little different.

 The sound is followed by the noise and the cries of the people.

 About half a minute later, the noise grew louder.

 After a while, I heard people running and screaming in the street. I came out of the house after eating lunch and stood on the side of the road and saw men and women running wherever they could.

 Again some women are running away holding the hands of children.

 And some women are also fleeing with children in their laps.

 I heard some women running past me and saying, "Drunk, drunk, Kohinoor has drunk wine."

 At that time, my father grabbed my hand and pulled me into the house and locked the door.

 🌟🔹Kohinoor is one of the most valuable diamonds in the world.

 That diamond is currently in the crown of Queen Elizabeth II of England.

 Earlier, son Humayun had won a battle and presented the diamond to father Emperor Babur. However, it is not known exactly when the diamond was mined in Persia or in India.

 But according to some, the Kohinoor is a diamond that has no definite value. In a word, priceless diamonds.

 With which the lives of the emperors are involved.

 🌟 Perhaps this is why, later many people were named Kohinoor and are still being named today.

 However, I knew that Kohinoor was just a girl's name.

 But I also came to know that the boys of Kohinoor are also named because of Kohinoor SP.

 I found out later, when the noise arose, the Kohinoor SP was drinking. At that time, almost all those who did not see the Kohinoor SP, assumed that a female SP named Kohinoor got drunk and shot dead two voters.

 Again, some say that the female SP did not have time to drink wine? People are killing after drinking alcohol.

 🌟 The next day I heard more, Kohinoor is actually the name of a male SP. Who knows, he was named Kohinoor. And I found out that day that the Kohinoor boys also have names.

 🌟 I heard that Mr. Kohinoor was drinking alcohol ✒ 

 On the day of polling, Mr. SP Kohinoor came to Achargaon High School, the polling station of Ward 7.

 Polao and roast beef were brought for him as lunch.

 He ate the whole bottle of foreign wine he had brought with him. It was very hot that day. So beef and foreign wine made him drunk.

 So he went into a room at the polling station, lightly pressed the door, and sat down with two benches together to reduce intoxication.

 🌟 On the other hand, there is a rumor that someone is stealing ballot papers and voting.

 Upon hearing this, an influential former student leader of Nandail Bazar went to the room where Mr. Kohinoor was lying - he kicked the door of the room, opened the door and insulted him in vulgar language, saying, "Are you drunk? Do not seeing someone is stealing stealing ballot papers and voting?"

 Hearing this, the drunken Kohinoor's mood got worse. Seeing that, the former student leader ran away. The drunken Kohinoor also came out and pulled out a pistol from the holster and fired two shots.

 One bullet struck another in the head and another in the chest. Both were killed instantly.

 And the panic started.

 🌟 I found out a few days later that drinking was actually a rumor.

 In fact, the panicked people thought that maybe Mr. SP Kohinoor was drunk and shot them.

 Then one would ask the other, "Did the SP Kohinoor drink alcohol?"

🌟 Later I came to know that Mr. Kohinoor was a corrupt police officer.

 He passed the BCS exam by corruption and earned money by corruption in the same way he got the job and became SP with promotion with that corrupted money.

 🌟 Kohinoor SP was brought to justice in 2009 but he fled from Bangladesh to another country.

কোহিনূর এসপি বুলে মদ খাইছে (কোহিনূর এসপি নাকি মদ খেয়েছে) ?

2004 সালে ময়মনসিহের নান্দাইল পৌরসভা নির্বাচনে  7 নং ওয়ার্ডের ভোটকেন্দ্রে  তৎকালীন এসপি কোহিনূর সাহেবের পিস্তলের গুলিতে দুইজন ভোটার নিহত হলে ঐ গুজবটা রটেছিলো।

🌟 2004 সালে নান্দাইল পৌরসভা  নির্বাচনে প্রার্থী তিনজন।

ক্ষমতাসীন জোট সরকারের দুইজন প্রার্থী।

একজনের ☔ ছাতা মার্কা।

অন্যজনের 🚲 সাইকেল।

আর বিরোধী দল আওয়ামী লীগ থেকে 🕯️মোমবাতি প্রতীকে একজন।

🌟 যথারীতি নির্বাচন শুরু হলো।

সেদিন আমি  জহুরের নামায পড়ে এসে   বাড়িতে বসে আব্বার সঙ্গে দুপুরের খাবার ভাত খাচ্ছিলাম।

তখন হঠাৎ করে দুইটা শব্দ হয়। আমরা স্পষ্টভাবেই শব্দ শুনেছিলাম। 

কেননা , আমাদের বাড়ি থেকে ভোটকেন্দ্রের দূরত্ব মাত্র প্রায় দুই শ মিটার।

🌟 তবে শব্দ দুটো পটকার মতোও না - আবার গাড়ির টায়ার ফাটার মতোও না।

বরং একটু অন্যরকম।

শব্দের পরই হৈচৈ আর মানুষের আর্তনাদের শব্দ। 

এর প্রায় আধা মিনিট পর হৈচৈ শব্দ আরও বৃদ্ধি পেলো।

আরও কিছুক্ষণ পর রাস্তায় মানুষের দৌড়া দৌড়ির আওয়াজ আর আর্তনাদ শুনতে পেয়ে আমি দুপুরের খাবার ভাত খাওয়া বাদ দিয়ে বাড়ির বাইরে এসে রাস্তার পাশে এসে দাঁড়িয়ে দেখলাম নারী - পুরুষ যে যেভাবে যেদিকে পারছেন দৌড়ে পালাচ্ছেন।

আবার কয়েকজন মহিলা শিশুদের হাত ধরে দৌড়ে পালাচ্ছেন।

এবং কয়েকজন মহিলা কোলে শিশু নিয়েও পালাচ্ছেন।

মহিলাদের কয়েকজন আমার পাশ দিয়ে দৌড়ে পালানোর সময় বলাবলি করতে শুনলাম , " মদ খাইছে , মদ খাইছে , কোহিনূরে মদ খাইছে। "

এমন সময় আব্বা আমার হাত ধরে টেনে বাড়িতে ঢুকে দরজা আটকিয়ে দিলেন।

🌟🔹কোহিনূর হচ্ছে পৃথিবীর সবচেয়ে মূল্যবান হিরের মধ্যে একটা। 

যে হিরে বর্তমানে ইংল্যান্ডের রানী দ্বিতীয় এলিজাবেথের মুকুটে রয়েছে।

এর আগে সম্রাট বাবরকে পুত্র হুমায়ুন একটা যুদ্ধে বিজয়ী হয়ে ঐ হিরেটা হস্তগত করে উপহার দিয়েছিলেন। তবে , হিরেটা কি পারস্যের খনি থেকে নাকি ভারতের খনি থেকে কবে উত্তোলিত হয়েছিলো - তার সঠিক ইতিহাস জানা নাই।

কিন্তু কারোর কারোর মতে , কোহিনূর হচ্ছে এমন এক হিরে , যার নির্দিষ্ট কোন মূল্য নাই। এক কথায় অমূল্য হিরে।

যার সঙ্গে জড়িয়ে আছে সম্রাটদের জীবন।

🌟 হয়তো এই কারণেই , পরবর্তীতে অনেক মানুষের নাম কোহিনূর রাখা হয় এবং বর্তমানেও রাখা হচ্ছে। 

তবে , আমি জানতাম কোহিনূর শুধু মেয়েদের নাম। 

কিন্তু কোহিনূর যে ছেলেদের নামও হয় - তা আমি জেনেছিলাম কোহিনূর এসপির কারণেই। 

🌟 আমি পরে জানতে পেরেছিলাম , যখন শোরগোল উঠলো , কোহিনূর এসপি মদ খাইছে । তখন যারা কোহিনূর এসপিকে দেখেনি , তাদের প্রায় সকলেই অনুমান করে নিয়েছিলেন যে , কোহিনূর নামে এক মহিলা এসপি মদ খেয়ে মাতাল হয়ে দুইজন ভোটারকে গুলি করে হত্যা করেছে । 

আবার কেউ কেউ বলে , ঐ মহিলা এসপি মদ খাওয়ার আর সময় পাইছিলো না ? মদ খায়াই তো মানুষ মারছে। 

🌟 পরের দিন আমি আরও কথা শুনেছিলাম , কোহিনূর আসলে এক পুরুষ এসপিরই নাম। কে জানি তিনির নাম কোহিনূর রেখেছিলো। আর আমি সেদিনই জানতে পেরেছিলাম যে , কোহিনূর ছেলেদের নামও হয়। 

🌟 তা কোহিনূর সাহেবের মদ খাওয়ার ঘটনাটা শুনেছিলাম এমন ✒ 

ভোটের দিন এসপি কোহিনূর সাহেব 7 নং ওয়ার্ডের ভোটকেন্দ্র আচারগাঁও উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়ে আসেন। 

দুপুরের খাবার হিসেবে তিনির জন্য আনা হয় পোলাও আর গরুর মাংসের ভুনা । 

তিনি পেট ভরে খেয়ে সঙ্গে আনা বিদেশি মদের বোতল পুরোটাই খেয়ে নেন। সেদিন ছিলো প্রচণ্ড গরম। তাই গরুর মাংস আর বিদেশি মদের তেজ তিনিকে মাতাল করে তুলে। 

তাই তিনি , ভোটকেন্দ্রেরই একটা রুমে ঢুকে হাল্কা করে দরজাটা চাপিয়ে দুই বেঞ্চ একত্রিত করে শুয়ে ছিলেন মাতলামি কমানোর জন্য। 

🌟 আবার অন্যদিকে গুঞ্জন শুরু হয় , কারা যেন বেলট পেপার চুরি করে ভোট দিয়ে দিচ্ছে। 

এটা জানতে পেরে নান্দাইল বাজারের এক প্রভাবশালী সাবেক ছাত্রনেতা গিয়ে কোহিনূর সাহেব যে রুমে শুয়ে ছিলেন - সে রুমের দরজায় লাথি মেরে দরজা খুলে অকথ্য ভাষায় গালি দিয়ে বলে , " মদ খায়া ফুইত্যা রইছছ ? দেহছ না ভোট ছুরি অইতাছে ( মদ খেয়ে শুয়ে আছিস ? দেখছিস না ভোট চুরি হচ্ছে ) ? " 

এই কথা শুনে মাতাল কোহিনূর সাহেবের মেজাজ হয় আরও খারাপ। তা দেখে ঐ সাবেক ছাত্রনেতা দৌড়ে পালায়। আর মাতাল কোহিনূর সাহেবও বাইরে এসে কোমরে রাখা খাপ ( হোলস্টার ) থেকে পিস্তল বের করে দুইটা গুলি করেন। 

একটা গুলি একজনের মাথায় আরেকজনের বুকে ঢুকে। দুজনই সঙ্গে সঙ্গে নিহত হয়। 

আর শুরু হয় আতঙ্কিত মানুষের ছোটাছুটি। 

🌟 আমি আরও কিছুদিন পরে জানতে পেরেছিলাম যে , মদ খাওয়ার ব্যাপারটা ছিলো আসলে একটা গুজবমাত্র। 

প্রকৃত পক্ষে , আতঙ্কিত মানুষেরাই মনে করেছিলেন যে , হয়তো এসপি কোহিনূর সাহেব মদ খেয়ে মাতাল হয়েই গুলি করেছিলেন। 

এরপর একজন আরেকজনকে জিজ্ঞেস করতো , " কোহিনূর এসপি বুলে মদ খাইছে ? " 

🌟 এর আরও পরে আমি জানতে পেরেছিলাম যে , কোহিনূর সাহেব ছিলেন একজন দুর্নীতিবাজ পুলিশ অফিসার। 

দুর্নীতি করে বিসিএস পরীক্ষায় উত্তীর্ণ হয়েছিলেন এবং চাকরি পেয়ে যেভাবে পেরেছিলেন সেভাবে দুর্নীতি করে টাকা উপার্জন করে সেই টাকা দিয়ে প্রমোশন নিয়ে এসপি হয়েছিলেন। 

🌟 2009 সালে কোহিনূর এসপিকে বিচারের আওতায় আনা সত্ত্বেও তিনি বাংলাদেশ থেকে অন্যদেশে নাকি পালিয়ে গিয়েছিলেন।
