 ⭐ Through whom activism ✒ 

 Osama Bin Laden's followers were active in Bangladesh from 1992 to 2004 under the leadership of Mufti Abdur Rauf of Madaripur and Mufti Abdul Hannan of Gopalganj and with the support of Mufti Izharul Islam of Chottogram and Ubaidur Rahman Khan Nadvi of Kishoreganj.

⭐ It started with the war in Afghanistan ✒

  After 1985, Afghanistan won the war against the Soviet Union with a slightly different strategy.

 Using religious fanaticism from many other countries were brought to Afghanistan to fight jihad.

Madmen from different countries including Egypt, Middle East, India and Pakistan participated in that war.

 And they were led by former Saudi Arabian billionaire Osama bin Laden and Afghanistan's Mullah Omar.

 In that war there were also some people from Bangladesh - who were expatriates from the Middle East and studied in India-Pakistan Madrasahs.

Among them were Mufti Hannan and Abdur Rauf.

 ⭐ Taliban betrayal after the war ✒

  Although Muslim citizens of different countries participated in the war almost regardless of sect, but later Osama and Mullah Umar kept those who believed in their ideology and expelled the rest from Afghanistan.

⭐ Return of religious zeal ✒

 After the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1990, East Germany under Russia was reunited with West Germany and Germany was reorganized.

 Along with that, a total of fifteen countries including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Albania, Georgia, Ukraine gained independence from the Soviet Union.

  Due to all these reasons, some of the religious fanatics coming from Afghanistan are forced to go to their own country and some to other countries.

And Osama bin Laden got the opportunity to stay in Afghanistan, Dr. Abdullah Azzam and Some militant leaders like Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri.

 ⭐ Militant leaders returned to Bangladesh from Afghanistan ✒

  But Mufti Rauf and Hannan returned to Bangladesh after not finding favor in Afghanistan and started their activities around 1992 to turn Bangladesh into a Mulla-state like Afghanistan.

⭐ Inactivity of Osama bin Laden's followers in Bangladesh ✒

  Basically, they started trying to secretly include Bangladeshis in their party in three ways.

 1) By direct invitation to the students-teachers of Qaumi Madrasa ✒

 Mufti Izharul Islam of Chottogram's Lalkhan Madrasa was included in this process.

 Osama bin Laden's followers were active till 2004 in Chottogram region mainly with the support of Mufti Izharul.

But around 2010, there was a horrific bomb blast at Lalkhan Madrasa and several people were killed.

 So Mufti Izharul was arrested. Thus the followers of Usama who were supporting him became inactive.

 2) Inducting Aliya Madrasa and School-College students into groups by misleading them with false stories ✒

 In this case, some students of Qaumi Madrasahs across the country indulged in misbehavior.

 But despite many efforts Aliya Madrasa or school-college students could not be included in their group.

⭐ Publication ✒ 

 Monthly Magazines, Lies About Afghanistan War - Books of Stories and Books - Letters and Audio Cassettes Misinterpreting the Narratives of Jihad in the Qur'an - Hadith as a Crusade.

⭐ Magazine ✒ 

 In this case, a monthly magazine called "Jago Mujahid" was published from Dhaka city.

 That magazine contained nothing but provocative talk.

 But it was neither sold openly nor secretly.

 The magazines were distributed by mail parcels and courier services to the agents of the magazine all over the country.

 Not only this, the newspaper agents who once brought only dailies and secretly sold chatty magazines meaning sex story magazines (however, they were called "Nude Magazines" in Mofaswal) - also sold "Jago Mujahid" in the hope of making a profit.

⭐ False story ✒ 

 * A novel is noteworthy in this regard. Name "Death-conquering Mujahid".

 It is basically a fictional novel based on the war between the Soviet Union and Afghanistan.

 The fictional story of an Afghan warrior from his childhood to his death in old age is so attractively narrated that people who are ignorant of religion believe the novel to be real.

 In fact, the novel was a tool to incite people to militancy.

* "From Ghaznavi to Somnath".

 In this book, the narrator narrates the false story of militancy in Kashmir.

 Basically false stories are narrated to mislead people.

 "I am sitting in disguise in the bus. I see the Indian Army signaling the bus driver to stop..."

 "I am hiding behind the cover with the Klasinkov (AK-47) rifle. I have vowed to myself that if the Indian Army sees me, I will come out from behind and start brush fire..." etc.

🌟 Ubaidur Rahman Khan Nadvi ✒ 

But, Ubaidur Rahman Khan Nadvi of Kishoreganj published several books before and after 2000.

 Anyone who reads those books of his may think that he might have taken the lease of Osama Bin Laden's brokerage in Bangladesh.

 The most popular of those books was "I saw Allah in Afghanistan"

 Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him) could not see Allah. Instead, the mountain was burnt.

 Again, Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ could not even go to Miraj to see Allah.

However, the name of Ubaidur Rahman's book is "I saw Allah in Afghanistan".

 If he is not a staunch broker, he should not give such a name.

 So I think as a historian, Ubaidur Rahman Khan of Kishoreganj took the brokerage lease from Usama's followers at that time.

That book also has some fake stories.

 The description given under the title "Shaheed body moved"

is totally irrational, not supported by religion and unrealistic description.

 It is true that the status of those who die as martyrs is very high - as stated in Islam.

But the person who was martyred in that war in Afghanistan came alive after five days and smiled with his father for 15 minutes. This description does not support any logic or any precept or reality of Islam.

So saying things like "many have seen", "this happened in front of many" can have no reason to believe that something is real. Obaidur Rahman Khan has described this incident in his book mainly through the brokering of Osama Bin Laden's followers.

That narrative may be credible to pro-Taliban and followers of Osama bin Laden. But other Muslims can have no compulsion to believe in it.

I have discussed about Ubaidur Rahman Khan Nadvi from his published book.

 Not that I mentioned them from any of his draft books. Rather, I have discussed about him according to the book published by him according to the rules and the explanation he sang in the preface of that book.

I am not referring to any secret words, secret diaries or secret drafts. So my discussion is appropriate. It would not have been appropriate if I had discussed from any of his drafts.

⭐ Audio Cassette ✒ 

 Now thousands of songs are heard on mobile.

 But before and after 2000, radio and audio cassettes were the main medium.

 So audio cassettes of songs about the war in Afghanistan and pro-Pakistani activities in Kashmir were sold like "Jago Mujahid" magazines.

 Osama Bin Laden's followers in Bangladesh were active in making Bangladesh a Mulla-state like Afghanistan in the above mentioned ways.

⭐ Failure of pro-Osama supporters in Bangladesh ✒ 

  But that hope in their mind was not fulfilled. Because, almost unexpectedly, like a comet and a meteor, Banglabhai and Bura Huzur sent away the followers of Osama bin Laden from Bangladesh.

🌟 Mufti Hannan ✒ 

 Mufti Hannan is a native of Gopalganj. However, on July 20, 2000,He planted a powerful bomb in Gopalganj to kill the then (and present) Prime Minister Dr. Sheikh Hasina.

 The grenade attack on 21 August 2004 was led by Mufti Hannan.

 And former finance minister Shah MS Kibria was also killed by grenade attack under the leadership of Mufti Hannan.

 Again in 2006, the then British High Commissioner Anwar Chowdhury was attacked with a grenade at the Shahjalal (RA) shrine in Sylhet under the leadership of Mufti Hannan. But Anwar Chowdhury was not killed that day.

🌟 Mufti Abdur Rauf ✒ 

 Although a native of Madaripur, he was active in militancy in Greater Mymensingh before and after 2000.

 He was also involved in the grenade attack on 21 August 2004.

 He was arrested on August 17, 2006 from Bhaluka ghazari forest in Mymensingh due to militant activities.

 He is currently in prison on death row for the August 21 grenade attack.

🌟 Personality of Osama Bin Laden's followers ✒ 

It is true that the followers of Usama Bin Laden are people of the level of Ulema Deen, Maulana and Mufti. But I did not criticize their education or their religious status. Rather, I have discussed their crimes and inactions in the contemporary state system.

And Ubaidur Rahman Khan Nadvi is lucky that despite being an early propagandist and collaborator of militancy in Bangladesh, today he is the editor of Daily Inkilab and preaches waj in various places. Those who were at the beginning of militancy in Bangladesh have been brought under the law and punished. But that was not the case with Ubaidur Rahman Khan Nadvi. So it must be said that Ubaidur Rahman Khan Nadvi's fate is quite better than others.

একজন ঐতিহাসিক হিসেবে আমি ওই ব্যাপারে আলোচনা করছি। 

🌟 যাদের মাধ্যমে সক্রিয়তা ✒ 

মাদারীপুরের মুফতি আব্দুর রউফ ও গোপালগঞ্জের মুফতি আব্দুল হান্নানের নেতৃত্বে এবং চট্টগ্রামের মুফতি ইজহারুল ইসলাম ও কিশোরগঞ্জের উবায়দুর রহমান খান নদভীর সহযোগিতায় 1992 সাল থেকে 2004 সাল পর্যন্ত বাংলাদেশে উসামা বিন লাদেনের অনুসারীরা সক্রিয় ছিলো।

🌟 শুরুটা আফগানিস্তানের যুদ্ধ থেকে ✒ 

 1985 এর পরে সোভিয়েত ইউনিয়নের বিরুদ্ধে আফগানিস্তান যুদ্ধে জিতেছিলো একটু ভিন্ন কৌশলে।

ধর্মীয় উন্মাদনাকে (RELIGIOUS FANATICISM) কাজে লাগিয়ে অন্যান্য অনেক দেশ থেকে ধর্মীয় উন্মাদদেরকে আফগানিস্তানে আনা হয় জিহাদ করার কথা বলে।

মিশর , মধ্যপ্রাচ্য , ভারত ও পাকিস্তানসহ বিভিন্ন দেশের উন্মাদরা সেই যুদ্ধে অংশগ্রহণ করেছিলো।

আর তাদের নেতৃত্ব দিয়েছিলো সৌদি আরবের সাবেক নাগরিক ধনকুবের উসামা বিন লাদেন আর আফগানিস্তানের মোল্লা উমর।

ঐ যুদ্ধে বাংলাদেশের কিছু লোকও ছিলো - যারা মধ্যপ্রাচ্যের প্রবাসী ছিলো এবং ভারত - পাকিস্তানের মাদ্রাসাগুলোতে পড়ত।

তাদের মধ্যে মুফতি হান্নান আর আব্দুর রউফও ছিলো।

🌟 যুদ্ধের পর তালেবানদের গাদ্দারি ✒ 

 যুদ্ধে প্রায় দল - মত নির্বিশেষে বিভিন্ন দেশের মুসলিম নাগরিকরা অংশগ্রহণ করলেও পরে উসামা এবং মোল্লা উমররা নিজেদের মতাদর্শে বিশ্বাসীদের দলে রাখে আর বাকিদেরকে আফগানিস্তান থেকে বিতাড়িত করে। 

🌟 ধর্মীয় উন্নয়াদের প্রত্যাবর্তন ✒ 

আবার 1990 সালে সোভিয়েত ইউনিয়ন বাতিল হওয়ার পরে রাশিয়ার অধীনে থাকা পূর্ব জার্মানি আবার পশ্চিম জার্মানির সঙ্গে যুক্ত হয়ে জার্মানি পুনর্গঠিত হয়। 

সেই সঙ্গে কাজাকিস্তান , উজবেকিস্তান , আলবেনিয়া , জর্জিয়া , ইউক্রেনসহ মোট পনেরটা দেশ সোভিয়েত ইউনিয়ন থেকে স্বাধীনতা লাভ করে। 

 এই সকল কারণে আফগানিস্তান থেকে অনেকটা বাধ্য হয়েই বিভিন্ন দেশ থেকে আগত ধর্মীয় উন্মাদরা কেউ নিজের দেশে আবার কেউ অন্যদেশে চলে যায়। 

আর আফগানিস্তানে অবস্থানের সুযোগ পায় উসামা বিন লাদেন , ড. আবদুল্লাহ আযযাম আর ড. আয়মান আল জাওয়াহিরির মতো কিছু জঙ্গিনেতা (MILITIA LEADERS) ।

🌟 বাংলাদেশ আফগান ফেরত জঙ্গি নেতারা ✒ 

 কিন্তু মুফতি রউফ আর হান্নানরা আফগানিস্তানে সুবিধা না পেয়ে বাংলাদেশে ফিরে আসে এবং 1992 সালের দিকে তাদের অপতৎপরতা শুরু করে বাংলাদেশকে আফগানিস্তানের মতো একটা মোল্লারাষ্ট্রে পরিণত করার জন্য। 

🌟 বাংলাদেশে ওসামা বিন লাদেনের অনুসারীদের অপতৎপরতা ✒ 

 মূলত তিনটি পদ্ধতিতে ওরা নিজেদের দলে বাংলাদেশিদের গোপনে অন্তর্ভুক্তির চেষ্টা শুরু করে। 

1 ) কওমি মাদ্রাসার ছাত্র - শিক্ষকদেরকে সরাসরি দাওয়াতের মাধ্যমে ✒ 

এই প্রক্রিয়াতে চট্টগ্রামের লালখান মাদ্রাসার মুফতি ইজহারুল ইসলামকে অন্তর্ভুক্ত করা হয়। 

মূলত মুফতি ইজহারুলের সমর্থনে চট্টগ্রাম অঞ্চলে উসামা বিন লাদেনের অনুসারীরা 2004 সাল পর্যন্ত সক্রিয় ছিলো। 

কিন্তু 2010 সালের দিকে লালখান মাদ্রাসায় এক ভয়াবহ বোমা বিস্ফোরণ হয় এবং কয়েকজন নিহত হয়। 

তাই মুফতি ইজহারুলকে গ্রেফতার করা হয়। তাই ওর সমর্থনে থাকা উসামার অনুসারীরা নিষ্ক্রিয় হয়ে যায়। 

2 ) আলিয়া মাদ্রাসা আর স্কুল - কলেজের ছাত্রদেরকে মিথ্যা কিচ্ছা - কাহিনী বলে বিভ্রান্ত করে দলে অন্তর্ভুক্ত করা ✒ 

এই ক্ষেত্রে সারাদেশে কওমি মাদ্রাসার কিছু ছাত্র অপতৎপরতায় লিপ্ত হয়। 

কিন্তু অনেক চেষ্টা করেও আলিয়া মাদ্রাসা অথবা স্কুল - কলেজের ছাত্রদেরকে নিজেদের দলে অন্তর্ভুক্ত করতে পারেনি। 

🌟 প্রকাশনা ✒ 

মাসিক মেগাজিন , আফগানিস্তানের যুদ্ধ নিয়ে মিথ্যা কিচ্ছা - কাহিনীর বই আর কোরান - হাদিসে জিহাদ মানে ধর্মযুদ্ধ নিয়ে যে সকল বর্ণনা আছে , সেই সকল বর্ণনার অপব্যাখ্যা করে লিখিত বই - পত্র এবং অডিও ক্যাসেট। 

🌟 ম্যাগাজিন ✒ 

এই ক্ষেত্রে ঢাকা শহর থেকে মাসিক একটা মেগাজিন প্রকাশিত হতো নাম ,"জাগো মুজাহিদ"। 

ঐ ম্যাগাজিনে উষ্কানিমূলক মূলক কথাবার্তা ছাড়া কিছুই থাকতো না। 

কিন্তু এটা প্রকাশ্যেও বিক্রি হতোনা আবার গোপনেও হতোনা। 

সারাদেশে থাকা ঐ ম্যাগাজিনের এজেন্টদেরকে ডাকযোগে পার্সেল আর কুরিয়ার সার্ভিসের মাধ্যমে বিতরণ করা হতো। 

শুধু তাই না , একসময় পত্রিকার যেসব এ্যাজেন্টরা শুধু দৈনিক পত্রিকা আনতো এবং এবং গোপনে চটি ম্যাগাজিন মানে সেক্সের গল্পের মেগাজিন (তবে , মফস্বলে এগুলোকে "লেংটা মেগাজিন" বলা হতো) বিক্রি করতো - ওরাও লাভের আশায় "জাগো মুজাহিদ" এনে বিক্রি করতো। 

মূলত এভাবেই "জাগো মুজাহিদ" প্রচারিত হতো। 

🌟 কিচ্ছা - কাহিনি ✒ 

* এক্ষেত্রে একটা উপন্যাস উল্লেখযোগ্য। নাম ,"মরণজয়ী মুজাহিদ"। 

মূলত সোভিয়েত ইউনিয়ন ও আফগানিস্তানের যুদ্ধ অবলম্বনে রচিত কাল্পনিক একটা উপন্যাস মাত্র। 

একজন আফগান যোদ্ধার বাল্যকাল থেকে বৃদ্ধ বয়সে মৃত্যু পর্যন্ত কাল্পনিক কাহিনিকে এতো আকর্ষণীয়ভাবে বর্ণনা করা হয়েছে যে , ধর্ম সম্পর্কে জ্ঞান নাই এমন মানুষে ঐ উপন্যাসটাকে বাস্তব বলেই বিশ্বাস করতেন। 

প্রকৃতপক্ষে , জঙ্গিবাদে মানুষকে উষ্কে দেয়ার জন্য ওই উপন্যাসটা ছিলো একটা হাতিয়ার। 

*"গজনভী থেকে সোমনাথের পথে" ✒ 

এই বইতে কথক দিয়ে বর্ণনা করা হয়েছে কাশ্মীরের জঙ্গি তৎপরতা নিয়ে মিথ্যা কাহিনি। 

মূলত মানুষকে বিভ্রান্ত করার জন্য বর্ণনা করা হয়েছে মিথ্যা কাহিনি। 

"আমি ছদ্মবেশে বসে আছি বাসে। এমন সময় দেখি ভারতের সেনাবাহিনী বাসের ড্রাইভারকে ইশারা দিয়ে থামতে বলছে ...... " 

"আমি ক্লাসিনকভ (AK-47) রাইফেলটা নিয়ে আড়ালে লুকিয়ে আছি। মনে মনে প্রতিজ্ঞা করে ফেলেছি , যদি ভারতীয় সেনারা আমাকে দেখে ফেলে , তবে আড়াল থেকে বের হয়ে ব্রাশ ফায়ার শুরু করবো ...... " প্রভৃতি মিথ্যা কাহিনি। 

🌟 উবায়দুর রহমান খান নদভী ✒ 

 কিন্তু , কিশোরগঞ্জের উবায়দুর রহমান খান নদভী 2000 সালের আগে ও পরে বেশ কিছু বই প্রকাশ করেছিলো। 

ওর ওই বইগুলো পড়লে যে কারোরই মনে হতে পারে যে , সে হয়তো উসামা বিন লাদেনের বাংলাদেশে দালালির ইজারা নিয়েছিলো। 

ওই বইগুলোর মধ্যে সবচেয়ে বেশি প্রচারিত বই ছিলো "আফগানিস্তানে আমি আল্লাহকে দেখেছি" https://parg.co/UYlc। 

হযরত মুসা আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম পারেননি আল্লাহকে দেখতে। বরং তুর পাহাড় পুড়ে ছিলো। 

আবার , হযরত মুহাম্মাদ ﷺ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম মিরাজে গিয়েও পারেননি আল্লাহকে দেখতে। 

অথচ , উবায়দুর রহমানের বইয়ের নাম ,"আফগানিস্তানে আমি আল্লাহকে দেখেছি"। 

কট্টর দালাল না হলে এমন নাম দেওয়ার কথা না। 

তাই আমি একজন ঐতিহাসিক হিসেবে মনে করি , কিশোরগঞ্জের উবায়দুর রহমান খান সেই সময়ে উসামার অনুসারীদের কাছ থেকে দালালির ইজারাটাই নিয়েছিলো। 

ওই বইতেও আছে আজগুবি কিচ্ছা কাহিনি।

"নড়ে উঠলো শহীদের লাশ"

শিরোনামে যে বর্ণনা করা হয়েছে সেটা সম্পূর্ণ যুক্তিহীন, ধর্ম সমর্থন করে না এবং অবাস্তব বর্ণনা।

এটা সত্য যে যিনিরা শহীদ হয়ে মৃত্যুবরণ করেন তাদের মর্যাদা অনেক উচ্চতায় - যা ইসলামের বর্ণিত আছে।

কিন্তু আফগানিস্তানের ওই যুদ্ধে শহীদ হওয়া ব্যক্তিটি পাঁচ দিন পর জীবিত হয়ে ওর পিতার সঙ্গে ১৫ মিনিট পর্যন্ত মুসাফাহা করেছে। এই বর্ণনা কোন যুক্তি অথবা ইসলাম ধর্মের কোন বিধান অথবা বাস্তবতা কখনই সমর্থন করে না।

ওই বর্ণনা তালেবানপন্থী এবং ওসামা বিন লাদেনের অনুসারীদের কাছে বিশ্বাসযোগ্য হলে হতেও পারে। কিন্তু অন্যান্য মুসলমানদের এতে বিশ্বাস করার কোন বাধ্যতা থাকতে পারে না। 

 তাই ,"অনেকেই দেখেছেন", "অনেকের সামনেই এই ঘটনা ঘটেছে" এই ধরনের কথা বলে ওই কিচ্ছাকে বাস্তব বলে বিশ্বাস করার কোন কারণ থাকতে পারে না। মূলত ওসামা বিন লাদেনের অনুসারীদের দালালি করে ওবায়দুর রহমান খান এই ঘটনাকে নিজের বইতে বর্ণনা করেছে।

উবায়দুর রহমান খান নদভীর ব্যাপারে আমি যে আলোচনা করেছি সেটা ওর প্রকাশিত বই থেকেই করেছি।

এ রকম না যে, ওর কোন খসড়া খাতা থেকে আমি এগুলো উল্লেখ করেছি। বরং নিয়ম মেনে ওর যে বই প্রকাশ করা হয়েছে এবং ওই বইয়ের ভূমিকায় সে যে সাফাই গেয়েছে, সে অনুসারেই আমি ওর ব্যাপারে আলোচনা করেছি। কোন ধরনের গোপন কথা, গোপন ডায়েরি অথবা গোপন কোন খসড়া থেকে আমি উল্লেখ করিনি। তাই আমার এই আলোচনা যথাযথ হয়েছে। যদি ওর কোন খসড়া থেকে আলোচনা করতাম তাহলে এটা যথাযথ হতো না।

🌟 অডিও ক্যাসেট ✒ 

এখন তো মোবাইলে হাজার হাজার গান শোনা হয়। 

কিন্তু 2000 সালের আগে ও কিছু পরে রেডিও এবং অডিও কেসেটই ছিলো প্রধান মাধ্যম। 

তাই আফগানিস্তানের যুদ্ধ আর কাশ্মীরের পাকিস্তানপন্থীদের তৎপরতা দিয়ে গানের অডিও ক্যাসেট "জাগো মুজাহিদ" পত্রিকার মতো বিক্রি হতো। 

মূলত উল্লিখিত উপায়ে বাংলাদেশে উসামা বিন লাদেনের অনুসারীরা সক্রিয় ছিলো বাংলাদেশকে আফগানিস্তানের মতো মোল্লারাষ্ট্রে পরিণত করার জন্য। 

🌟 বাংলাদেশে উসামাপন্থীদের ব্যর্থতা ✒ 

 কিন্তু ওদের মনের সেই আশা আর পূর্ণ হয়নি। কেননা , প্রায় অপ্রত্যাশিতভাবে ধূমকেতু আর উল্কার মতো বাংলাভাই আর বুড়া হুজুর বাংলাদেশ থেকে উসামা বিন লাদেনের অনুসারীদেরকে বিদায় করে দিয়েছিলো। 

 🌟 মুফতি হান্নান ✒ 

গোপালগঞ্জের লোক হওয়া সত্ত্বেও 2000 সালের 20 জুলাই সেই সময়ের (এবং বর্তমান) প্রধানমন্ত্রী ড. শেখ হাসিনাকে হত্যার জন্য গোপালগঞ্জেই শক্তিশালী বোমা ফিটিং করেছিলো। 

কিন্তু বোমা হামলার আগেই বোমা উদ্ধার করা হয় এবং মুফতি হান্নানকে গ্রেফতার করা হয়। 

2004 সালের 21 আগস্ট গ্রেনেড হামলাটা মুফতি হান্নানের নেতৃত্বেই হয়েছিলো।

এবং সাবেক অর্থমন্ত্রী শাহ্ এম.এস কিবরিয়াকেও গ্রেনেড হামলা করে হত্যা করা হয়েছিলো মুফতি হান্নানের নেতৃত্বেই ।

আবার 2006 সালে সিলেটের শাহজালাল (রাহ্.) মাজারে তখনের ব্রিটিশ হাই কমিশনার আনোয়ার চৌধুরীকে গ্রেনেড হামলা করা হয় মুফতি হান্নানের নেতৃত্বেই। কিন্তু আনোয়ার চৌধুরী সেদিন নিহত হননি। 

2017 সালে গাজীপুরের কাশিমপুর কারাগারে আনোয়ার চৌধুরীকে গ্রেনেড হামলার দায়ে ফাঁসিতে মুফতি হান্নানের মৃত্যুদণ্ড কার্যকর করা হয়। 

 🌟 মুফতি আব্দুর রউফ ✒ 

মাদারীপুরের লোক হলেও 2000 সালের আগে ও পরে বৃহত্তর ময়মনসিংহে সে জঙ্গি কাজে তৎপর ছিলো। 

2004 সালের 21 আগস্ট গ্রেনেড হামলাতেও সে জড়িত ছিলো। 

2006 সালের 17 আগস্ট ময়মনসিহের ভালুকার শালবন থেকে জঙ্গি তৎপরতার কারণে তাকে গ্রেফতার করা হয়। 

বর্তমানে সে 21 আগস্ট গ্রেনেড হামলার দায়ে মৃত্যুদণ্ডের আসামি হয়ে কারাগারে আছে।
