 🌟 The second caliph Umar bin Khattab (Radi.) Was the best thug in Arabia at a young age.

 🌟 Introduction ✒ 

 His name is Umar and his father's name is Khattab. Umar bin Khattab together.

 He was the nephew of Abu Jahl.

 And later married one of his daughters to the last Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

 🌟 Hooliganism ✒ 

 The common people of Makkah were not only afraid of Umar but also of other thugs.

 At that time there was anarchy, so he used to commit crimes as much as he could.

 Until his age of 33, Umar used to be a bully like this.

 🌟 Conversion to Islam ✒ 

 Abu Jahl, the bad person who opposed the Prophet, was saying to his followers one day in the club, "Who are you, who can kill Muhammad (Nawzubillah)?"

 On that day, Umar drank Arabic wine (that is, Bengali wine made in the Arabic formula) and came to Abu Jahl's club.

 Then Umar agreed, whether it was to get drunk or to show off his bravery.

 Then he came out of the club with his sword.

 On the way, another said that Umar's sister had converted to Islam. So Umar angrily went to his sister's house, beat her and eventually converted to Islam.

 This is how Umar, the Arab thug, became a Muslim.

 🌟 Forceful Umar ✒ 

 Hazrat Umar was very angry. Before accepting Islam, he used to do whatever he wanted out of anger.

 But after converting to Islam, he used his anger only for good.

 That is, when he was bound by a good deed, he would remove that barrier through anger and protect the helpless.

 🌟 Justice ✒

 * Whipped his son for drinking. Because of this the boy died.

 * He once rebuked himself for speaking harshly to a man.

 🌟 Good ruler ✒

 His good governance was an example for any ruler.

 He used to search for people in disguise.

 Syrian Governor Muawiyah bin Sufyan was once asked to apologize for his royal life.

 🌟 Accountability ✒ 

 Caliph Umar (Radi) used to give not only the accountability of others but also his own accountability.

 Even if anyone wanted to know about his allotment, he would give an account.

🌟 Stable government system ✒ 

 Stable government is a great achievement for any ruler - be it an authoritarian ruler or a liberal ruler.

 Hadrat Umar's regime also had a stable system of governance.

 The rule of only a few before and after Hazrat Umar bin Khattab is comparable to his.

 * Among the previous rulers of Hazrat Umar, Emperor Ashoka and Emperor Cyrus had excellent stability in the system of governance.

 * Among the rulers after Hazrat Umar who had a comparative stability in the system of governance

 Hazrat Muawiyah bin Sufyan (Rad.).

 Emperor Akbar.

 Emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir.

 British Empire.

 The regime of Joseph Stalin (Russia and the Soviet Union).

 Mao Zedong's China.

 🌟 Dignity ✒ 

 The status of Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) after the Prophets (AS). After him, the dignity of Hazrat Umar. No one will be able to have the same status as Hazrat Umar till the Day of Resurrection.

 🌟 That is why I wrote about Umar (Radi) ✒ 

 Dear Reader, After the death of my father on May 23, 2018 https://v.gd/21POBw , Emperor Alexander, Emperor Ashoka, Emperor Genghis Khan, Emperor Babur, Emperor Akbar were remembered.

 But since the death of my mother on December 20, 2020, Hazrat Umar has been remembered more and more.

 Personally, I do not consider Hazrat Umar as my role model (considering any Companion as one's role model is one's own personal matter). And I don't think there is any need to be as energetic as Umar in the modern age.

 But in spite of that, since the death of my mother, only the words of Hazrat Umar have come to my mind more and more. The matter seems strange to me.

🌟 দ্বিতীয় খলিফা উমর বিন খাত্তাব (রাদি.) যুবক বয়সে ছিলেন আরবের সেরা গুণ্ডা।

🌟 পরিচয় ✒

তিনির নাম উমর আর বাবার নাম খাত্তাব। দুইয়ে মিলে উমর বিন খাত্তাব।

তিনি ছিলেন আবু জেহেলের ভাগ্নে।

এবং পরে তিনির এক মেয়েকে শেষ নবী মুহাম্মাদের (সা.) কাছে বিয়ে দিয়েছিলেন। 

🌟 গুণ্ডামি ✒

মক্কার সাধারণ মানুষ তো বটেই - বরং অন্যান্য গুণ্ডারাও উমরকে খুবই ভয় পেত।

তখন তো সময় ছিল অরাজকতার , তাই যে যেমন পেরেছিল , তেমনি অপরাধ করে বেড়াত।

নিজের 33 বছর বয়স পর্যন্ত উমর এভাবেই গুণ্ডামি করে বেড়াত।

🌟 ইসলাম গ্রহণ ✒

নবী বিরোধী খারাপ লোক আবু জেহেল একদিন আসরে নিজের চ্যালাদেরকে বলছিল , "কে আছ , যে মুহাম্মাদকে হত্যা করতে পারবে (নাউযুবিল্লাহ) ?"

সেদিন উমর আরবি মদ (অর্থাৎ , আরবের পদ্ধতিতে বানানো বাংলা মদ) খেয়ে মাতাল হয়ে উপস্থিত হয়েছিল আবু জেহেলের আসরে।

তখন মদের ঘোরেই হউক অথবা নিজের বাহাদুরি প্রদর্শনের জন্যই হউক , উমর রাজি হয়েছিল।

তখন সে তলোয়ার নিয়ে আসর থেকে বের হল।

পথে আরেক জনে বলল , উমরের বোন ইসলাম ধর্ম গ্রহণ করেছে। তাই উমর রেগে বোনের বাড়িতে গিয়ে বোনকে প্রহার করে শেষে নিজেই ইসলাম ধর্ম গ্রহণ করেছিল।

এভাবেই আরবের গুণ্ডা উমর হয়েছিলেন মুসলমান। 

🌟 তেজস্বী উমর ✒

হযরত উমর অনেক রাগী ছিলেন। ইসলাম গ্রহণের আগে রাগের বশে যা খুশি তাই করতেন।

কিন্তু ইসলাম গ্রহণের পরে তিনি নিজের রাগকে শুধুমাত্র ভালো কাজে ব্যবহার করতেন।

অর্থাৎ , ভালো কাজে বাঁধা এলে রাগের মাধ্যমে সেই বাঁধা দূর করতেন এবং অসহায়দেরকে রক্ষা করতেন।

🌟 ন্যায় বিচার ✒

* মদ খাওয়ার অপরাধে নিজের ছেলেকে বেত্রাঘাত করেছিলেন। এই কারণে ছেলেটা মৃত্যু বরণ করেছিল।

* একবার এক লোককে কটু কথা বলার কারণে নিজেকেই নিজে চরম তিরস্কার করেছিলেন।

🌟 সুশাসক ✒

তিনির সুশাসন ছিল যে কোন শাসকের জন্য দৃষ্টান্ত স্বরূপ।

তিনি নিজে ছদ্মবেশে মানুষের খোঁজ - খবর নিতেন।

একবার সিরিয়ার গভর্নর মুয়াবিয়া বিন সুফিয়ানকে রাজকীয় জীবন - যাপনের কারণে কৈফিয়ত চেয়েছিলেন।

🌟 জবাবদিহিতা ✒

শুধু অপরের জবাবদিহিতাই না - বরং নিজের জবাবদিহিতাও প্রদান করতেন খলিফা উমর (রাদি.)।

এমনকি তিনির বরাদ্দের বিষয়ে কেউ কিছু জানতে চাইলে হিসাব দিতেন।

🌟 স্থিতিশীল সরকার ব্যবস্থা ✒

স্থিতিশীল সরকার ব্যবস্থা যে কোন শাসকের জন্য বড় সাফল্য - সেটা স্বৈর শাসকের হউক অথবা উদার শাসকেরই হউক। 

হযরত উমরের শাসন ব্যবস্থাতেও ছিল স্হিতিশীল শাসন ব্যবস্থা। 

হযরত উমর বিন খাত্তাবের আগে ও পরে মাত্র কয়েক জনের শাসন ব্যবস্থার তুলনা তিনির সঙ্গে তুলনীয়।

* হযরত উমরের আগের শাসকদের মধ্যে সম্রাট অশোক আর সম্রাট সাইরাসের শাসন ব্যবস্থাতে ছিল চমৎকার স্হিতিশীলতা।

* হযরত উমরের পরের শাসকদের মধ্যে যাদের শাসন ব্যবস্থায় তুলনীয় স্হিতিশীলতা ছিল ✒

হযরত মুয়াবিয়া বিন সুফিয়ান (রাদি.)।

সম্রাট আকবার। 

সম্রাট ঔরঙ্গজেব আলমগির।

বৃটিশ সাম্রাজ্য।

জোসেফ স্ট্যালিনের শাসন ব্যবস্থা (রাশিয়া ও সোভিয়েত ইউনিয়ন)।

মাও সে তুঙ - র চীন।

🌟 মর্যাদা ✒ 

নবীগণের (আ.) পরে হযরত আবু বকরের (রাদি.) মর্যাদা। তিনির পরেই হযরত উমরের মর্যাদা। কিয়ামত পর্যন্ত যত লোকের জন্ম হবে , কেউই হযরত উমরের সমান মর্যাদা সম্পন্ন হতে পারবেন না। 

🌟 যে কারণে উমরকে (রাদি.) নিয়ে লিখলাম ✒

প্রিয় পাঠক / পাঠিকা , 2018 সালের 23 মে আমার বাবার ইন্তেকালের https://v.gd/21POBw পরে সম্রাট আলেকজান্ডার , সম্রাট অশোক , সম্রাট চেঙ্গিস খান , সম্রাট বাবর , সম্রাট আকবারদেরকে এমনিতেই মনে পড়েছিল।

কিন্তু 20 ডিসেম্বর 2020 তারিখে আমার আম্মার ইন্তেকালের পর থেকেই হযরত উমরকে বেশি বেশি মনে পড়ছে।

ব্যক্তিগতভাবে হযরত উমরকে আমার আদর্শ মনে করি না (কোন সাহাবিকে আদর্শ মনে করা নিজের একান্ত ব্যক্তিগত বিষয়)। এবং আধুনিক যুগে উমরের মত ঐ রকম তেজস্বী হওয়ারও দরকার আছে বলে আমি মনে করি না।

কিন্তু তা সত্ত্বেও আমার মায়ের ইন্তেকালের পর থেকেই শুধু হযরত উমরের কথাই বেশি বেশি মনে পড়ছে। বিষয়টা আমার কাছেই অদ্ভুত মনে হচ্ছে।
